David Cooper, CEO of Prudential Kansas City Realty, makes no secret of the fact that he wants to find new ways for the company to further its involvement in civic activities. (Cooper is on the right in the photo, with Bill Perry, President of Legacy Title).
“It’s so important for each of us to be civic-minded and find ways to give back to our community,” said Cooper.
After much discussion, Prudential Kansas City Realty owners chose the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts as the latest organization to continue its civic-minded, charitable work. Company leaders see the partnership with the Kauffman Center as a great way to demonstrate Prudential Kansas City Realty’s commitment to downtown and, at the same time, support to the region’s cultural vitality.
“Performing arts have been the soul of Kansas City for a long time,” said Cooper. “This just seemed like a natural partnership.” And one Cooper believes both colleagues and clients will appreciate.
Cooper unveiled the donation match program to Prudential Kansas City Realty brokers, agents and staff in February during its annual recognition ceremony held at Mission Hills Country Club. Audience members enthusiastically applauded the announcement.
From now until year end, Prudential Kansas City Realty will put energy behind a campaign to encourage everyone to participate by making contributions to the Kauffman Center. Prudential Kansas City Realty will match contributions up to $2,500, potentially making a capital campaign gift of $5,000.
